Pay:$16.50/hr. (Fri) and $19.50/hr. (Sat-Sun)
Schedule:Fri-Sun, 5:00am-5:30pm
Overview
We are hiring Distribution Associates for a busy distribution environment. This is a hands-on, manual labor role where you will be manually unloading 18-wheeler trucks and handling warehouse material movement. Forklift experience is required, but this is not a “sit-on-the-forklift-all-day” position. Candidates must be willing to do both forklift and heavy manual work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload inbound 18-wheeler trucks and stack product onto pallets in required patterns
- Move and locate materials into rack, pallet, and bin locations
- Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to receive and track inventory transactions
- Operate material handling equipment (forklift/MHE) as needed
- Follow safe lifting practices and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Support general warehouse and distribution tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience
- Forklift experience (and willing to perform significant manual labor)
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Comfortable standing/walking for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks
- Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements (drug test required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating MHE and using RF scanners
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
Physical / Work Environment Notes
- Manual unloading and material handling is a core part of the job
- Moderate to loud noise environment, working near moving mechanical equipment
- Role may involve lifting 50+ lbs. in some areas
